About Me
My childhood was firmly rooted in the world of the five senses, both within my own experience and that of my family. I earned my Chemical Engineering Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, worked seven semesters as a co-operative education student at IBM, and went on to receive my Masters and Doctorate degrees in Chemical Engineering at The University of Michigan. I accepted a full-time position at IBM following graduate school.
Beginning in the early 1990's I began exploring first mind, then body, then spiritual work for my own health and well-being. During this extended self-discovery process, it became evident my heart and spirit no longer aligned well with my chosen profession.
Unexpectedly in March of 2007 I spontaneously manifested intuitive healing abilities, something I'd never heard of, much less trained for. I then considered various training programs but received a clear message to trust what I was being given so I continued intuitive healing under what I called "an apprenticeship with the universe."
Eventually I heard about Jin Shin Jyutsu® (JSJ), an ancient Japanese art similar to acupuncture involving gentle touch instead of needles. I became a practitioner in July 2010.
I now combine intuitive healing with Jin Shin Jyutsu to improve my clients' overall health. I feel I've come home to myself and to my life's work and am thrilled to share this fantastic combination of healing modalities with the world.
