biography
As far as the spirit realm goes, I had an uneventful childhood. No one in my family, including me, interacted with spirits, or heard voices, or experienced or believed anything extraordinary. Since I was good in science and math and had some parental pressure in that direction as well, I majored in Chemical Engineering in college, ultimately getting my doctorate in the field. I am still employed as a ChemE, working for a large corporation doing analytical work on computer chips.
In the mid-1990's, I began an unexpected personal growth journey. I explored mind, body, and spirit through self-help and wisdom literature as well as psychotherapy, stress defusions, spiritual direction, and extensive Trager Bodywork. Slowly I excavated my authentic self from family and societal "shoulds" and experienced a progressively deeper sense of peace and well-being.
In early 2007, while giving my husband a backrub, I realized I could unknot his tight muscles with energy. We were both stunned. I had never heard of intuitive healing and if I had, I doubt I would have believed it was possible. Another time I put my hands around his painfully hyperextended knee and felt intense energy, so intense it brought tears to my eyes, flow through my hands. Again we were both shocked by his sudden recovery. Shortly thereafter I intuited I could do remote healing as well. I've healed extensively since that time and consider myself on a one year apprenticeship with the universe.
